Lake Louise is straight out of a dream, summer and winter are both incredibly gorgeous and insta-worthy! In the summer you can rent canoes and tour around the lake, go hiking, walking and I think some brave souls even jump in the lake which is wild because it’s glacier fed.

In the winter the it’s transformed into a winter wonderland, the lake freezes and you can skate around on it. They also put on an Ice Festival right on the lake from January 20-31 which is definitely a must see. Now while you’re in the area, don’t forget downhill and cross country skiing at Lake Louise Resort! Great for all skill levels, I’ve been to this hill what feels like hundreds of times and each time I go is just as magical.

Stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and book a room that looks over the lake for the most dreamy vacay views. In the hotel you will find some great little restaurants which you can use even if you aren’t staying at the hotel.

Spending an entire day at Lake Louise is so relaxing, however, spending an entire weekend there is even better. Get away from your stressful daily routine and book your next vacay in this dreamy paradise.
